Khusdil Shah was born on 7th February 1995 in Bannu , a city located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan (Earlier known as the North West Frontier Province).

While growing up, he developed a passion for cricket. He has represented many teams and regions, like the Bannu and Peshawar, at the under-19 level of cricket. Later, he played for the Pakistan domestic cricket setup.
