Education and Early Cricket Career
Cameron had attended schooling at the Scotch College in Perth. He grew up in Subiaco, Perth. He graduated from there in 2016. He has been selected for the Under-12 AFL state team. He was also selected for the under-19 state cricket team.

Domestic cricket career
He made his first-class debut in the 2016- 17 Sheffield Shield season for the Western Australian cricket team, against the Tasmanian cricket team. He was just 17 years old at that time. He took five wickets for 24 runs in the first innings.
After his injury in his back, his bowling career was halted. Later in the 2019 -20 season, he emerged as a batsman. There, he scored 699 runs.
He scored his first first-class double century in the 2020- 21 Sheffield Shield season, where he scored 251 runs against the Queensland team.
He began his List A career for the Cricket Australia XI in January 2017, against Pakistan. In the 2018-19 Big Bash League BBL, he made his T20 debut for the Perth Scorchers.
He later made a deal with the Scorchers to play for them in the Big Bash League (2022- 23).
International cricket career
Cameron Green’s test cricket debut was on 17th December 2020 against India, at the Adelaide Oval. In that series, he scored 84 in the Sydney test.
- He scored his first test century in March 2022, against India, where he scored 114.
- After his great performance, he was promoted to the number 4 position. He then made an unbeatable 174 score in February 2024, against the New Zealand team in Wellington.
- He made his One Day International Debut on 2nd December 2020, against India. His first major ODI achievement was in August 2022, against Zimbabwe in Townsville, where he took 5/33.
- In another ODI match in September 2022, he scored 89 against New Zealand in Cairns, which led the Australian cricket team to win.
