Sourav Ganguly was born on 8th July, 1972, in Behala, Kolkata, West Bengal. He was the youngest son of his parents, Chandidas Ganguly (father) and Nirupa Ganguly (mother).
He had done his education from St. Xavier’s Collegiate school, which is considered as one of the most reputed institutions in Kolkata. He went on to have a B.Com degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
