The TATA IPL Player auction returns, and this time the stakes are much higher than the last season of IPL 2025 (Window Reset). Total 1390 participants have registered for this upcoming ipl 2026 auction, out of those, only 350 were selected by the organization, 110 players are overseas(foreigners), 240 players are Indian, and including 224 Indian players and 14 Overseas players are those who did not played for international matches yet in cricket called uncapped. 16 Indian and 96 overseas are capped players (who played for international matches).
